THE BRIEF
Netflix wanted to elevate the discussion around some of their titles on social media, starting with Timothee Chalamet’s historical drama “The King.”
THE WORK
I pitched, wrote, directed, and narrated an explainer video that mixed promotional footage of the film with real historical evidence and animated recreations. Surprising us all, the eight minute video amassed over three million views on YouTube alone, as well as earned media coverage. It spawned “Beyond the Screen,” a video series that delved into the real history and science behind Netflix programming.
