THE BRIEF
Ben & Jerry’s wanted to increase brand affinity. But the project was important for another reason: it was the first “official” release of The Explainer Studio, the in-house agency that I co-created at Vox Media.
THE WORK
Per the explanatory mission of the new studio, I pitched, wrote, directed, and hosted a video on the science of why humans love ice cream. But, to set the tone, I tried to do it in a way that was colorful and delightful. Almost foamy in texture. The client liked it so much they committed to an additional spend.
